Collaborative music and tech event Buzz Jam returns to Red Bull Studios in London Bridge from September 16-18.
Buzz Jam is presented by YGN, in partnership with Sony Music, We Make Awesome Sh, Weller Media Agency and Red Bull Studios. It will feature a one-of-a-kind ‘hack day’, bringing five music artists and coders together under one roof. Participating teams will use the time to create a new musical instrument, culminating in a unique performance.
Confirmed artists include multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Tom Walker, rapper, singer, songwriter Tiggs Da Author and electronic artist Nimmo. Ady Suleimun and Lake Komo are the final acts to be announced.
Buzz Jam will put the artists in the heart of the coders' world for an event that will demonstrate skill, creativity and the synergetic nature of all three groups. In previous years, the collaborations have yielded everything from a chiptune keytar made from two Game Boys, two Guitar Hero necks and a wireless midi keyboard, to motion-triggered sound boards and wearable tech drum kits.
