Ed Sheeran races away in bid for fastest-selling album of 2019 so far
The Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash is in, and Ed Sheeran mania has set in once again.
The singer’s new album, No.6 Collaborations Project tops the albums chart thanks to an initial burst of 63,909 sales, not including Sunday’s streaming data. It could be on course to overtake Lewis Capaldi's debut as the fastest-selling album of 2019 so far: 89,506 sales is the target.
