FAC sets up new pro membership tier, announces songwriting panel event

The Featured Artists Coalition (FAC) has launched a pro membership tier, teaming up with new music platform SupaPass to provide the new service.

Membership is priced at £5/month or £50/year, in return pro subscribers will get priority access and discounts to exclusive events from the FAC - which today began a search for a new CEO - and their partners. This will include discounts on rental gear and rehearsal spaces and give access to additional educational material.

The non-profit organisation’s Artist In Residence Imogen Heap said: “After hearing so many of our existing members asking how they can support what we do directly, we decided to step up, and offer a pro tier membership option for those who’d like to and are able to give a little each month. It's early doors yet but together we can build on this with our pro members, enticing further partner organisations into collaborating with us, giving us good deals and enabling greater opportunities.”

The first event available to pro members will take place on January 24. All About: Songwriting, An In-Depth Conversation with Katie Melua will see the singer speaking to BASCA fellow Don Black, Grammy-nominee Carla Marie Williams, MNEK and William Orbit.

The event is free for FAC pro members and priced at £15 for other members.
