Graham Nash, Frank Turner, and Courtney Marie Andrews were among the winners at the fourth annual UK Americana Awards.
Hosted by Bob Harris OBE, the ceremony took place tonight (January 31) at Hackney Empire in East London.
Turner took home the award for Best Selling Americana Album for Be More Kind, while Nash won the Lifetime Achievement Award. Producer Joe Boyd scooped the Trailblazer Award, Bennet Wilson Poole was named (UK Artist Of The Year and Brandi Carlile won International Song Of The Year for The Joke. Courtney Marie Andrews' May Your Kindness remain was named International Album Of The Year.
All winners were presented with hand-crafted representations of 7” singles turned in a variety of woods. Graham Nash received a 12” Lifetime Achievement trophy.

Performers on the night included Graham Nash, Rhiannon Giddens, Jade Bird, YOLA, Seth Lakeman, Chris Hillman and Curse of Lono.
The ceremony was preceded by a series of showcases and conferences presented by the Americana Music Association UK. Speakers included John Oates and Rhiannon Giddens.
