Entries for 2019 Ivor Novello Awards have opened.
The British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA), who run the awards, are inviting eligible submissions in its six nominated categories:
Best Song Musically and Lyrically Best Contemporary Song
Best Album
Best Original Film Score
Best Television Soundtrack
Best Original Video Game Score
To be eligible, a work must have a British or Irish writing contribution of at least a third and have been commercially released in the UK during the calendar year ending 31st December 2018.
Entries for the 64th Ivors must be submitted by February 7. Nominations will be announced the the week of April 22, with the awards taking place on May 23.
