Music Week is delighted to announce that Jo Whiley is to host the Music Week Awards 2019.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ will take charge of proceedings at the biggest night in the music industry calendar. Whiley’s first time as host coincides with a new venue – Battersea Evolution – for the awards ceremony on May 9.
Whiley currently presents an evening show on Radio 2 from Monday to Thursday. She moved to the network in 2011, following 18 years on sister network Radio 1. Whiley has also been a regular presenter of BBC TV’s Glastonbury coverage.
A hugely popular broadcaster and long-term supporter of the music industry, Whiley will be presenting awards in 23 categories to leading executives, alongside our highly prestigious career award, The Strat.
Table bookings are now open for the awards and selling fast – click here for full details of table and ticket packages.
