Justin Timberlake added to line-up for the BRIT Awards 2018

 

The BRIT Awards 2018 has today (January 30) announced that Justin Timberlake will join the main performing line-up at The O2 on Wednesday February 21. It will mark his third performance at the BRITS.

Timberlake will join a host of previously announced performers including Rita Ora, Ed Sheeran, Rag’n’Bone Man, Jorja Smith, Stormzy, Dua Lipa Sam Smith and Foo Fighters. 

Speaking on the addition of Timberlake, BRITs chairman and CEO & chairman of Sony Music UK & Ireland, Jason Iley said: “We are honoured to have an artist of Justin’s stature and relevance performing at this year’s BRIT Awards. He is one of the most exciting artists in the world with success spanning more than two decades and is adored by music fans across the globe.”

The 2018 Critics’ Choice Award and BRIT Award for British Producer have already been announced, with Jorja Smith and Steve Mac winning respectively at The BRITs Are Coming nomination party.

Leading nominee Dua Lipa is up for 5 nominations this year making her the most nominated female in a single year for the first time in BRITs history.

Ed Sheeran is following closely behind with 4 nominations, and J Hus and Rag’N’Bone Man are both up for 3 awards.
