Metallica will be opening a pop-up store in London ahead of their sold-out UK arena tour.
The store will open on October 18-23 at 45 Charlotte Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3PD. It will be open for business from 12 noon to 8pm, except October 23 (12-6pm).
It follows Foo Fighters’ recent pop-up pub in East London, and a range of temporary retail offerings from artists including Frank Ocean and Guns N’ Roses.
The band launched the retail initiative last year in Minneapolis and carried on into other sites in North America and Copenhagen. The pop-up shops feature new and exclusive collectible items and, according to their statement, fans will not know “exactly who or what they will find there”.
The UK tour calls at:
London O2 Arena (October 22)
London O2 Arena (October 24)
Glasgow SSE Hydro (October 26)
Manchester Arena (October 28)
Birmingham Genting Arena (October 30)
The band will be re-releasing Master Of Puppets in expanded and deluxe editions on November 10.
