Richard Ashcroft has announced details of a series of arena shows for 2017.
The former Verve singer, who released fifth solo album These People in May, will play arenas in Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds in from April 18-22 and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on June 30.
The gigs follow two orchestra-accompanied arena performances next week, at Liverpool's Echo Arena on December 7 and The O2 in London on December 9. Also this year, Ashcroft has played Isle Of Wight Festival and has toured in Japan, Chile, Argentina and Mexico.
These People reached No.3 upon release in May and has so far spent five months in the UK Top 200 Albums chart, selling 48,008 copies to date. The Verve’s biggest selling album, 1997’s Urban Hymns, has 3,297,859 sales to date.
Tickets for the 2017 shows are on sale from 9:30am on Friday December 2.
