Ryan Lawrie has become the latest act to exit The X Factor following a sing-off with controversial rapper Honey G.
Three judges - Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh - opted to save Honey G, who found herself in the Bottom 2 for the first time in the series, with only Lawrie's mentor Nicole Scherzinger backing the 20-year-old Scot.
Lawrie performed Ed Sheeran's Lego House, while Honey G gave a rendition of Missy Elliott's Work It in what was described by X Factor host Dermot O'Leary as "definitely the most surreal sing-off we have ever had". Next week's show will have the theme Louis Loves - some of Louis Walsh's favourite songs.
Elswhere on last night's show, Craig David (pictured) and Alicia Keys performed their respective new singles Change My Love and Blended Family, while Rick Astley appeared on rival BBC One show Strictly Come Dancing to sing his latest track, Dance.
There are now just six contestants remaining in this year's X Factor - Honey G, 5 After Midnight, Emily Middlemas, Saara Aalto and bookies' favourite Matt Terry. The final will take place at The SSE Arena, Wembley, over the weekend of December 10.
