US Singer-songwriter Sasha Sloan has signed deals with Sony Music labels – RCA in the US and Columbia in the UK.
The announcement coincides with the release of debut EP, Sad Girl. Sloan recently partnered with Nina Nesbitt and Charlotte Lawrence on a multi-artist Spotify single.
Her debut single Ready Yet has clocked up more than 10 million Spotify streams.
Peter Edge, chairman and CEO, RCA Records, said: “We are thrilled to have Sasha Sloan join the RCA Records family. Her brilliant confessional songwriting and phenomenal melancholic vocal style represent a fresh, unique artistic vision and perspective. We’re looking forward to a very bright future together.”
Sloan added: “I’m so grateful for everyone’s support over these last few months and am excited to be a part of RCA and Columbia UK as I continue to grow.”
Touring activity this summer includes support slots for Oh Wonder, as well as festival appearances.
