Shania Twain revealed that her new single Life’s About To Get Good will be released in June via an appearance last night on NBC’s The Voice. The song will be taken from her upcoming new album - her first in 15 years - which is scheduled for release in September. Twain is expected to debut the new single during her headlining set this Saturday night (April 29) at Stagecoach Festival.
Speaking about the making of the song, Twain said: "When writing Life’s About To Get Good, I was at home looking out at the ocean and I said to myself, ‘Here I am stuck in this past of negativity, but it’s so beautiful out. I’m not in the mood to write a ‘feeling-sorry-for-myself’ song.”
According to Official Charts Company data, Shania Twain's 1997 album Come On Over has sold 3,410,444 copies to date in the UK. It also remains the best-selling studio album in Soundscan history by a female artist in any genre and the best-selling country album of all time with over 40 million units sold worldwide.
