The 1975 have become the latest in a string of artists to launch a pop-up shop this year.
The Manchester act have announced a series of pop up shops throughout December at Manchester’s Artzu Gallery, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Blvd. and Camden Market in London, with a range of new and exclusive merchandise available at each store.
Last month The Weeknd launched a five-city global pop-up shop retail campaign in support of the Starboy Limited Album Collection.
The event ran from November 4-6 and saw The Weeknd collaborate with a different partner in each city, including Alchemist in Miami; ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA, Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles and Selfridges in London.
In August Kanye West launched his Pablo pop-up retail event, which saw 21 cities across the globe host special ‘Pablo shops’ over the weekend of August 19-21.
