The Stone Roses have announced two arena shows in Leeds.

Set to take place at the city’s First Direct Arena on June 20 and 21 next year, the new dates come in addition to those already announced in Belfast, London and Glasgow.

Tickets for the Leeds dates go on sale on Friday (December 9) at 9.30am.

The Stone Roses will play Belfast SSE Arena on June 13, London’s Wembley Stadium on 17, Leeds’ SSE Arena on 20 and 21 and Glasgow’s Hampden Park on 24.

The dates come a year after the Manchester group played their hometown’s Etihad Stadium.

The band also released their first new music in over two decades, singles All For One and Beautiful Thing, this summer. 

No firm details of a new album have been announced.
