Jade Bird has signed with PPL for the administration of her international neighbouring rights collections.
The Glassnote-signed artist joins a roster of over 65,000 performers that PPL collects for internationally, including Rita Ora, Emeli Sandé and Bastille.
Bird released her self-titled debut album in April and entered the UK Top 10. It has sales to date of 12,535, according to the Official Charts Company.
She secured placements on the MTV Push and BBC Sounds Of 2018 watch lists, alongside acts such as Sam Fender and Lewis Capaldi. Bird has also made an impact in the US with the support of Glassnote.
PPL has 92 agreements with collective management organisations around the world. In 2018 these agreements covered 96% of the value of the neighbouring rights market for performers.

In 2018, PPL’s international revenue stream had a record year, collecting £70.9 million. It brought the total revenue collected since the start of PPL’s international business in 2006 to £429.1m.
