Zara Larsson, Clean Bandit and The Amazons are among the latest wave of names to be added to the line-up for this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival.
Joining them on a list of 10 additions designed to show to event’s commitment to young, up and coming talent are Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Vamps, The Strypes, Germein Sisters, Judas, The Novatones and The Second Sons. They join headliners David Guetta, Run DMN, Arcade Fire and Rod Stewart on a bill that also features Kaiser Chiefs, Texas, The Shires and Ward Thomas.
The festival’s promoter, Solo Agency MD John Giddings said: “We've always supported fresh, new and exciting talent at the at the Isle of Wight Festival. It’s what music festivals are all about. We had Blossoms in 2015 and they've just been nominated for a BRIT award! Looking forward to seeing what the Isle of Wight 2017’s talents have in store for us!"
Zara Larsson, whose I Would Like Single is currently at No.10 in the singles chart and has sold 356,564 copies to date, added: “So Excited to play the Isle of Wight Festival! UK festivals are always so much fun! You guys always bring 100%.”
The Amazons frontman Matt Thompson, who recently discussed grime and being in a new band with Music Week, said: “We’re very excited to be escaping the mainland to play Isle of Wight Festival for the second time. We had a blast last year at the Jack Rocks tent and can’t wait to join a line-up of some of our favourite artists."
