Streaming big: Biz debates Spotify IPO impact

As Spotify begins its second week as a publicly listed company, the music industry has been debating the potential impact of the streaming giant’s IPO.

The listing on the New York Stock Exchange on April 3 - with a closing valuation of $26.5 billion (£18.8bn) - was a day when music streaming received global attention.

Annabella Coldrick, CEO of MMF, said it was a “seismic moment” that will also “raise some questions”.
