'It is a great fit for both brands': Ministry Of Sound partners with Love Island

Ministry of Sound has renewed its exclusive partnership with Love Island.

The continuation of the joint venture will see Ministry remain the official curation partner for the fifth series of the ITV2 dating reality show, which commences this summer.

Ministry of Sound and Love Island’s partnership will include a branded party in the villa and the release of Pool Party 2019 on June 7. The first edition of the music tie-in peaked at No.1 in the compilation chart last summer and has sales of 64,022, according to the Official Charts Company.

This year will also see the launch of Ministry of Sound’s official Love Island Moments playlist exclusively on Apple Music. Featuring songs heard during the show, it will be updated in real time during each episode.

Love Island broke ITV2’s record last year for the channel’s most watched programme.
