Deezer has partnered with global wearables brand Fitbit to allow users to stream music via the Ionic model in 2018.
From next year, users who add the Deezer app to the device will have access to the streaming service's music catalogue including playlists and the Flow feature, which combines data analytics with editorial curation to come up with a personalised selection.
The partnership is designed to combined music with a Fitbit wearer’s workout.
"We're excited to partner with Fitbit, the leading global wearables brand, to bring our personalized offline music streaming service to its large international community," said Riad Hawa, global VP of hardware partnerships at Deezer. "By bringing Deezer to Fitbit Ionic, users around the globe can leave their phones at home and listen to their favorite music from our vast library right from their wrist.”
Deezer has recently expanded its offering in master quality audio and voice control.
