Future PLC announces world exclusive partnership between Metal Hammer and Deezer

Future PLC has today (May 24) announced a new partnership between Metal Hammer and global streaming service Deezer for exclusive audio content from the biggest names in metal.

The exclusive content partnership will deliver unique interviews, curated playlists, special edition podcasts, a world-exclusive interview with metal eccentric, Devin Townsend and much more.

An official press release said: “The New Noise weekly playlist will keep fans updated with the latest metal releases, while those wanting to explore tracks from across the globe can enjoy a monthly playlist of metal music from one selected country, beginning with Indonesia.” 

Speaking about the launch, Metal Hammer editor, Merlin Alderslade said: “Deezer is one of the leading streaming platforms in the world today, but what excites us most about working with them is that Deezer has a strong and loyal metal fanbase. This is a partnership that will result in numerous opportunities and special content made by metal fans, for metal fans...We're going to be rolling out some great stuff in the coming months."

Metal Hammer is part of the music website, Louder, which boasts over two million followers on Facebook. Deezer meanwhile provides 53 million tracks to over 180 countries.
