Entertainment One has signed a multi-year, worldwide distribution deal with Los Angeles-based independent label Akashik Records. 

The partnership was announced by Chris Taylor, eOne’s global president, music and Akashik’s primary partners Shane Sakanoi, Alima Jennings and Mndsgn/Ringgo. 

Under the new pact, eOne will distribute all future releases globally from the label. Scheduled 2018 releases include music by Tokayo, Ras G, Jamma Dee and Jay Feeniks. 

Taylor said: “We couldn’t be more excited to work with the creative talents behind Akashik Records. Along with their incredible roster, Mndsgn, Alima and Shane all bring something truly special to the table that we're eager to share."

Sakanoi said: “We are excited and honoured to partner with the eOne team to help build the futures of the artists we collaborate with and to expand the legacy of our collective brand.”
