AWAL has announced an exclusive worldwide deal with LA-based indie SideOne Dummy Records.
The rock label will draw upon AWAL’s global digital and traditional distribution, as well as marketing to maximise the opportunities and promotion of its artist roster and catalogue. SideOne Dummy will work in tandem with AWAL’s global marketing, radio promotion, global distribution and data analytics teams.
The deal follows a global partnership between Glassnote Records and Kobalt’s recordings division. Jade Bird is the first UK Glassnote artist to benefit from the AWAL collaboration.

Founded in 1995 by Joe Sib and Bill Armstrong (pictured), SideOne Dummy Records launched artists including The Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello. Its current roster includes Xavier Rudd, Rozwell Kid and Nahko And Medicine For The People. The label also created and released the annual Warped Tour Compilation series.
