Manchester Arena will be closed until early September following last month's terror attack, the venue has confirmed.
Music Week understands the 21,000-capacity venue is expected to reopen for John Legend's concert on September 16.
Radiohead, who were due to play two nights at the venue next month, will instead play Manchester's 50,000-capacity Emirates Old Trafford on Tuesday, July 4. Other upcoming music shows affected by the closure include Nashville In Concert, which has been switched to O2 Apollo Manchester, and Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow on June 22, Key103 Live on July 15 and Bros on August 22, which have all been cancelled.
"Whilst it was always our intention to honour our existing summer events, the damage caused to the main public area outside of the arena has left us with no other option than to remain closed until September," said a statement on behalf of the SMG Europe-operated venue.
"We are currently working with the promoters of our June, July and August shows to find suitable solutions for all those events affected by this unprecedented closure."
Promoters are currently working with all parties involved in Celine Dion's scheduled June 25 and August 1 concerts to try and reschedule the dates. Ticketholders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets and will be informed of new information as soon as possible.
"We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to all our customers and friends for their continued support and patience during this time and our ongoing thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected by the May 22 atrocity," added the statement.
