See Tickets has acquired ticketing and technology company Paylogic from LiveStyle.
The acquisition of the Amsterdam-based firm, which sells over five million tickets annually in more than 10 countries, significantly expands See’s global network.
Nottingham-based See is owned by Universal Music Group parent company Vivendi.
Rob Wilmshurst (pictured), CEO of See Tickets, said: “We are delighted to acquire Paylogic. It is a clear statement of our intention to grow our activities in Europe and the US. We warmly welcome the Paylogic team to the wider Vivendi family and look forward to sharing an agenda of growth, service quality and technological progression.”
LiveStyle predecessor SFX Entertainment previously snapped up 75% of Paylogic for $16.2 million (£11.3m) in 2013.
See Tickets has also entered into a long-term commercial agreement with LiveStyle and its subsidiaries to ticket its US festivals and events.
Founded in the Netherlands in 2005, Paylogic is the fastest growing ticketing company in Europe, with offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Paylogic has developed revolutionary digital ticketing environments for 1000’s of clients including the major live entertainment brands, Tomorrowland, ID&T, ADE, and Awakenings.
With businesses in the UK, France, the US, Spain, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, See Tickets expects to sell more than 20m tickets a year for music, sporting and cultural events, with thousands of clients in over 30 countries.
