What was your first job in music?
Tape op (trainee sound engineer) for the Mad Professor (Ariwa Studios) and Sour Records.
How long have you been in your current role?
I've been active since the mid '90s.
What is your favourite thing about working in the live music industry?
The energy transfer you receive from the crowd is emotional. Theres nothing like performing music you’ve created and connecting with people. Truly blessed.
What is the one thing you would like to change about the live business?
Sound systems that don’t go below 35hz.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
For 2018 it would have to be my ‘cult.ure’ events. No boundaries, no genre rules just straight up vibes with my peers and likeminded souls was almost spiritual!
What’s the best gig you’ve ever been to?
Prince or Stevie Wonder. And, within the past 12 months, Francis And The Lights! Amazing performer.
