The Box Plus Network has today launched its brand new Box Plus App.
Available as a free download on Apple and Android devices, the Box Plus App has been designed to bring together the Box Plus Network’s vast library of shows and music content.
Showcasing the network’s full range of music channels (The Box, Box Upfront, Box Hits, 4Music, Kiss, Magic and Kerrang!) and short form content from Beboxmusic.com, the app provides users access to on-demand content and over 300 hours of programming.
Matt Rennie, The Box Plus Network managing director, commented: “We’re so pleased to launch the new Box Plus App. We know our audience are avid app users and the move signifies our commitment to sharing our channel and music content and shaping our digital offering in a way that we know our audience will love.”
Ben Williams, The Box Plus Network, digital director, added: "Over the course of 2016 the team have been working on a complete overhaul of our iOS, Android, EE and Web apps which are due to be released over the Autumn. We have everything from a live stream and catch-up of our 4Music flagship show Trending, through to acquired content such as Not Safe with Nicky Glaser, and short form snippets from our British Mum Lewis Hancox.
“The Box Plus App has been designed to feed our millennial audiences two fundamental fears; FOMO and FOBA. The Apps are completely free to download, and the next stage is to release a whole new batch of connected device apps in early 2017."
