Weekend music TV round-up: Four out as X Factor reaches semi-final stage

Just six contestants remain in The X Factor following a quadruple elimination ahead of next weekend's semi-finals.

This week's theme was "Crazy in Love". Sean and Conor Price (who performed Issues by Julia Michaels), from Simon Cowell's groups category, and Sam Black (Oops by Little Mix), from Louis Walsh's boys, exited on Saturday, followed by 16-year-old's Holly Tandy (Love Me Harder by Ariana Grande) and Rai-Elle Williams (Mr Big Stuff by Jean Knight), both mentored by Sharon Osbourne, on last night's show.

Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen, Grace Davies, Rak-Su, The Cutkelvins and Lloyd Macey are now left to battle it out for the grand prize with just two weeks left of the 2017 show. Rak-Su's original composition Mona Lisa saw off Grace Davies' song Hesitate to win the prize fight and the opportunity to record in LA with acclaimed producer Ali Tamposi.

Matt Terry, the 2016 X Factor winner, guested on Saturday's show, performing The Thing About Love, while Fergie starred last night with Save It Til Morning.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Michael Ball & Alfie Boe performed New York, New York on the latest episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
